My newest drive! 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman in Hot Chocolate
Discussion
Hi!
I am new here today, but after my partner bought a PistonHeads sticker for his car and one for mine, I thought I had better join in with the car fun...
I am a car nut, I LOVE MINIS and I lurrrrrve Land Rover Defenders and a fee other cars. I help my partner with restoring classic cars, and we recently welded a Ford KA back together for me to drive when I passed my test two months ago.
Since then, I have owned an R50 Cooper and I now own a 2008 Hot Chocolate Mini Clubman and I LOVE IT!!!!!
It is an automatic, which I wasn't sure about, having driven and passed my test in, manual cars...
My Clubman is an ex showroom car. It has:
Sat Nav,
Lounge Leather,
Cruise Control,
Radar Parking Sensors,
Chilli Pack (Chrome exterior and interior),
Welcome Lights inside,
Media Pack (USB/AUX/CD/Radio/Bluetooth)
6-Speed Auto with Paddle shift and Sports Mode
Extra Boot Floor
I *think* that's all of it.
I love it. I have had it 10 days and I knoe I will be a very happy driver in this one for MANY years!
My partner attached his PistonHeads sticker today, so afer I had given my beautiful Mini his first wash, I attached his sticker, too.
Pics of the day I picked him up, his first wash, and His 'n' Hers stickers are attached!

You've been here less than a year. Remind me again what qualifies you to pass judgement on a forum that's been going such a long time.
It's people like you and the small minded muppets trying way too hard to be cool above that is ruining pistonheads.
This car as it came from BMW. It hasn't got the seats folded down for a better COG.
Now go back to the sandpit and pull your pants up little boy.

No,its people like you.Even the OP got the humour, theres only one person on this thread who has turned it nasty. It's people like you and the small minded muppets trying way too hard to be cool above that is ruining pistonheads.

Really.. Have a read of the numerous threads on how pistonheads has lost it's way. The bandwagon jumping to ridicule people because their tastes are different.
Readers cars always was the most heavy handed part of PH but I'm sick of seeing people quote what they think they know about a forum they've been on for five minutes.
Go to a Sunday Service or some other PH meet and no one judges anyone. It's a lot of happy petrolheads living and letting live.
Then you've got the subsect of PH that I'm referring to who rather than play nice, thinks it's acceptable to berate people when they have first posted. It's pathetic and smacks of school pisstaking.
