my e36 m3 evo vert build thread
Discussion
had the car for 3 years and have been collecting parts all that time.
started on the work in july.
first i chucked in some vader seats, took me 3 years to find some mint early vaders.

2000 wet sanded the whole car and polished with a rotary.

bought some alloys

next i changed all the interior took me 3 days. hated the grey.

fitted black suede headlining to the hardtop, sorry about the crap pics. everyone loves it.

started on the suspension rebuild and a few other tasty bits.

front/rear h&r antiroll bars
front/rear new balljoints
full poly bush (every single bush) including diff (e90 bolts and custom 6mm thick stainless steel washers for rear subframe powerflex bushes the washers supplied by powerflex are too weak and bend )
turner rtab limiters with oem bushes
arp bolts and bmw shells,
cpv valve
purple tag e46 rack.
new engine and gearbox mounts.
reinforced front subframe.
quick shift with linkage and delrin bushes,
5.8 kg lightened flywheel,
m5 clutch
eisenmann race exhaust
reinforced subframe, wishbones, engine mounts

ARP titanium bolts and big end shells.

thats it so far still got loads to do
gotta fit these RPM camber castor top mounts, shorter than stock so will increase shock travel.

got a few mods left to do
fit racelogic digital traction control
fit mac motoren carbon fibre airbox and remap to alpha N. pics dont do it justice.

fit 3.62 low ratio diff.

Lovely car. Not sure about the ride height, it looks too low to me. Also agree about the wheels, would look better with original rims.
Other than that it's stunning! I'd like one of these as my next car but prices for a good one are now getting silly and I'd be hard pressed to take a 36 over a 46 at the same money...

e46 m3 will be toast by the time i am finished.
ride height will be raised about inch, handling is amazing, corners dead flat and rides very well.
this suspension set up blows away stock car.
love the short shift which is now even better after i added storm v1 knob couple of days ago no notchiness at all.
