Decided I needed something practical and economical to do the shopping in and also so I can teach the girlfriend to drive. Looked at a few options but liked the looks and toys on the C1, plus I had the old model as my first car which I loved so I had to have another one

Obviously it's not the fastest car but averaging over 50mpg, being easy to park and having a decent boot with folding seats means it's perfect for what I need. No more of using the passenger seat to transport giant stuffed animals...

That is a pretty awful colour! It's like that colour you get when you're a kid and you mix together all the paints at once...

In the real world this is about the most economical petrol car you can buy. The front doesn't appeal to me though, it looks like they had two design teams come up with competing proposals and couldn't choose which to go with so put them both on.
An eminently sensible choice of car though, personally I'd have been looking as a Dacia Sandero 0.9, a Twingo or a Panda Twinair, but the C1 is a better real world choice I'm sure.

I think they missed a trick not fitting a bigger engine for fuel economy - a 1.3 would barely break a sweat pulling one of these things along.

I do adore the Aston, owned it almost 2 years now and it still makes me smile. As a daily driver it's somewhat crippling in terms of cost however so by spending on a new car I've saved money...or something /Manmaths
