Hey Everyone (first post - seemed like a good place)

Had this around a month now, Absolutely fantastic car.

Amazing how many people turn heads/come over and have a chat when it's parked up, and plenty of people "surprised" to find they like a vauxhall ha

Yeah they are lovley cars, pictures don't really do it justice.

Also just noticed that i broke the rules already, no title in the subject - if a mod could correct it that'd be great - GTC VXR smile

Never mind the fluff. Let's do the important stuff - how does it drive?

Like a dream, I was a bit worried with so much power (280bhp) through the front wheels, but vauxhall have done some clever and there is basically no torque steer. It feels amazing to drive, and the power is incredible.

Much nicer looking than the latest Focus ST, despite me being a Ford fan. Not a common sight either

Having come from the older shape astra VXR i was tempted by these. They've improved pretty much everything that was wrong with the last one in my opinion.

Two reasons i didn't sign on the dotted line though - fuel economy and traction.

Lovely looking car and will be the bargain of the century once these have been out 5 years or so smile

Are vauxhall still doing the lifetime warranty and 0% finance ?

Great looking car - I once had a corsa vxr but chose not to have another vxr following the threads about soft paint and full resprays. Regardless, great cars - enjoy!

Didn't you see the sticky that asks people to state make and model in the thread title?

Is that at Roche Abbey?
Have seen a simular car drive through Bramley, if that's not you.
Took my mates blue one round local country lanes and was well impressed with it, shame I need more than 2 doors.

These are lovely cars - my neighbour has a GTC with massive wheels too. I can't get over how massive they are though! How can you thread that down a winding B-road without having to stop for everything coming the other way?!

Love seeing these in the wild, they certainly are rare! Much nicer than the ST, as someone else said... I've love one smile
