Hi all.

I've been browsing the forums for a while now and thought it was about time I posted a thread.

My previous cars were an MG ZR 2.0 TD (broke after about 2 months), Ford Focus 2.0 (sold after about 5 months) and a Vauxhall Corsa 1.7 DTi which I've had for just over a year and finally this which I purchased this week.

The exterior won't be to everyone's taste but I like it and it's growing on me even more.

Car needs a good clean which I haven't got around to doing just yet but when I do I'll get some better pictures up and posted here.

Whilst it's not my cup of tea i can understand the appeal. I used to own a fto gpxion red with full veilside kit. A lot of us own cars like this at some point. Enjoy.

My first thought was this!

However, it has a V6 and probably sounds great. I have fond memories of blatting around in my mates MG Estate 2.5 and that was great fun... over a decade ago now!

I actually kinda like it, haha.
Well, aside from those rear light clusters, they're pretty nasty.

Get rid of those rear light clusters, all the green and that projector thing and I think it would be a great looking steed. As said, a sleeper with a V6 too. What's not to like?

Oh deary me. If it was a proper MG XPower SV you would probably get away with that colour combo.

But it's not , so you won't

I'm a fan of the Lesser Pimped MG ZS.

Unfortunately by the latter stages Rover MG bastardised the basic body so much with KAHN-esque bodykits in their quest for sales it became quite ugly (IMO). Such a shame really.

You're right, not everyone's cup of tea, but I'd wager there's a massive proportion of readers here with silver or white A4's, 320ds, Mondeo's etc or something (like me) off the company car list who can't actually have what they really want anyway.

It's your car, it's different, it's certainly interesting. it'll have a decent dollop of power and it'll sound nice.

I like it, it seems in cracking condition too. Are the MG puddle lights standard?

I'd rather put a bullet in my brain than have an A4 or a 320d...

You have ruined a decent car tbh and take those nasty HID lights out. Its idiots like you that are blinding other road users, very unpleasant especially in dark unlit country lanes.
