New Mclaren 650S

Picked up on Thursday, not run in yet but brilliant so far.

Awesome car, went to the mclaren factory last year. Since then have so much love for the brand. More than before should say

Not run in yet Jaacck but already feeling the beast underneath even at 4K revs. Should have all power available in a week or two then the fun can start!

How many miles to run in ? Im running in my fiesta st atm, at 300 miles think I will give it 400-500 till it gets a bit more of a hooning

Been advised 650 miles, engine wouldn't have a problem but the other systems need a bit of babying before caning them.

I think your strategy is pretty sound, easy at first then gradually start putting the pressure on in the build up to full run in. But don't take my word for it, every single other person on PH knows more about cars than I do!

Yeah, Lambo has gone back to Sevenoaks, it was a lovely car but time for a change.

Thank you sir! 350 miles on the clock now, I think it will take another couple of weekends to finish the run-in but really enjoying the car even driving gently.

Are you from essex? regularly saw a white gallardo(basildon/wickford way) with a private plate.
If it is you will be nice to see the mclaren out and about

Yes James that probably would have been me, live in Wickford and regularly go to the Market Cafe in Basildon for Sunday breakfast!
