Hyundai Coupe 2.0
Discussion
So after my Colt Ralliart got wrote off i decided to buy a cheaper car and save the rest of the insurance payout for a rainy day/holiday/hookers and blow.
I looked at a couple of cars, Twingo GT(rubbish by the way), Swift Sport, Corolla T-Sport but ended up going for a Hyundai Coupe 2.0 in black, have always thought about getting one one day so it felt like a good time to go for it. I never exactly loved the Colt like i did my Ignis Sport, the turbo was the only good thing it had to be honest, everything else was average and i never felt confident taking corners at speeds because of the massive MPV style front pillars so never really had much fun in it.
Haven't had a proper drive in it yet but very happy so far, nice comfortable leather seats, smooth engine, doesn't feel fast but goes well enough for me and cruises nicely on the motorway, handles better than i thought on country roads and it was actually quite good fun.
But at the end of the day it's all about the looks with this car

Looking dirty already after 4 days of owning it! Bloody black paint...

I'm considering getting one of these, how are you getting on with it?
Can't fault it so far, great on the motorway with cruise on, good standard speakers, large boot. It was making a whiney noise but a cambelt change fixed that, they are due at 50k so check that, was £300 from Hyundai fully fitted. I'd guess a celica would be more fun but i think the Coupe looks better and you don't have to worry about the oil issues they have Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
