New Kuga Titanium 2.0 TDCi 150PS FWD

Hi guys,

Been reading stuff on Pistonheads for years, and finally decided I have something to post on here. I currently have a 2014 Fiesta ST-3 1.6 EcoBoost. Completely standard car apart from the factory option of the style pack which in my opinion makes the car look ten times better, However as we have a little person on the way due to arrive about June time, I had to make the change. So have ordered this from my local dealer (who I happen to work for so get a good discount) and am hoping to pick up on Tuesday sometime. Interested in people thoughts on the car? Thanks

I had a Kuga about 3 years ago and found it surprisingly pleasant for a family car, I've even thought about another one so it will be good to hear your thoughts.

We've got a 2014 140 Titanium X fwd diesel only had it since October last year but so far very pleased with it.

The keyless start did have a couple of days of playing silly buggers but, touch wood, has been fine since the dealership did a 'switch it off and back on again'!

Fuel consumption is not as good as Ford quote, we've getting mid 40's over a wide rage of roads/driving. Torque steer especially accelerating hard up hills is almost comical.

It is a surprisingly good car to drive, well weighted steering, good ride and for a high car handles very well.

Thanks for the comments Steve, I have got the new 150ps which is just slightly more powerful than yours so I expect the torque steer will be worse! I am very pleased about the new car I must say - it's by far the most sensible car I've ever bought so will be quite a change from the norm for me, but should be good for my wife and the little one to go about in - it has a few nice options too with the hands free tailgate/self parking feature etc and the big wheels

I like the look of these and think they're a massive improvement over the previous shape. Our leased Q3 is going back in August and the Kuga is definitely on the list to look at.
