I got my M135i new in April last year and now a year on I've started to do a few bits to it.
I absolutely love the car and for the price i paid, I don't think that anything (new) comes close.
So here it is the day I picked it up a year ago:
So this week I have had it lowered 25mm on H&R springs, I have also had black grills fitted and my mirrors and front bumper blades wrapped black to de chrome it.
This is how it looks now :
The plan is to now look at a new down pipe and exhaust system as well as a remap or piggyback ecu!
I'd also like to get it on a track a couple of times during the summer.

Looks nice! I would probably go for a full exhaust system including manifolds for better gains along with a customised remap to take full advantage of exhaust.
Also fully adjustable dampers would be next on my list especially if you want to track it, when you are at it check if bushings need refreshing. Brakes probably ok standard.

OP, nice! A friend had a well sorted 130i and now has replaced it with a 135i AC Schnitzer 1, although I'm slightly bemused as to why you'd want more power than a 135i!? - his ACS1 has 360bhp! Nonetheless, I'm sure your car is more than fast enough in standard tune!! Nice subtle improvements by the way

It's pretty quick yeh, but as with everything you get used to it and for simple mods that don't cost the earth it should see around 370 - 390bhp. It's doing well though, it's the first car I've had that I haven't got rid of after 12 months, I've just no idea what I'd replace it with
There a really nice car these M135's, looks great in white with the dark wheels too.
How do you stand with the warranty after your mods? Is it just a case of its void if anything goes wrong?
Mind they sound awesome with exhaust mods, saw one at cadwell park on the circuit last year and it sounded great.

My friend also has a Porsche 996 3.6 C4 & although the cars are entirely different (2 vs 4wd and auto vs manual), the BMW murders the 911 even though the one is rear engined and set up with a fast road/track updated suspension).....his old tuned 130i was fast though this is apparently mental, evening running Pilot Sport Cup tyres. The previous owner ran it for a short while with 390 bhp though traction unsurprisingly was an issue at times! I'm hoping for a ride in it next weekend and hopefully he won't scare me witless! He was considering a friends low mileage 1M though struggled with the price difference over the cars and was worried a 1M would be with the value too much of a garage queen. Keep up the posts It's doing well though, it's the first car I've had that I haven't got rid of after 12 months, I've just no idea what I'd replace it with
