This is my 1997 911 Carrera 2S in widebody bulging beauty!
71k miles, fsh, drives like a new car. Varioram 285bhp, brilliant top end, smooth (not too fast) bottom end but plenty of torque from the 3.6l aircooled lump.

That is absolutely gorgeous. Wow. I remember when I first started driving around 2008 and these were 20k or so, god damn I wanted one but insurance was a killer. Wish I took the plunge as values have rocketed since then so would have paid for the insurance plus running costs! damn.

Just brilliant. By far the best looking modern(ish) 911. Was the 2S much different to the Carrera other than the ample hips?

Ever so slightly lower suspension i believe and wider rims plus the logo on the dials etc. Mine also has the sought after electric hardback seats which are fabulous tbh. Engine wise no difference as i understand it so it was just the turbo bodyshell mainly i think.
