1987 Nissan Vanette Truck
Discussion
Hi guys
The latest addition to the fleet.
We bought it from an auction in Japan, it arrived last Monday, took us a week to get it through compliance, had to chuck new brake pads in the front, check one of the rear brakes that were binding, and add new tyres.
Instead of buying new 13 inch tyres, we bought a set of 14 inch Watanabe wheels, quite scarce in NZ as far as i know.
Spent a few days now cleaning it inside and out, stripped everything on the inside bar the dashboard and it came up mint.
Need to get some new seat covers at some stage and in time it will be treated to a respray. Pretty rust free mainly surface rust.

And some photos of today after we finished, already added the all important Pistonheads sticker:

Thanks for looking

I love that! Since getting a Hi-Ace van for work, I've become quite fond of Japanese commercials! Would love a good one of these to use as a second vehicle for work!
I've only been driving it for a few days and I'm very happy with it.It has a A15 engine with 80hp, seems like at least half of them are still there and a five speed box, goes pretty well for an old girl
