For 7 days only! Driving it out of JFK was a bit scary but I'm now getting used to driving in the US!

So glad I went for it- it gets loads of compliments!

Looks brilliant. I've seen a few of the hire car companies over this way start to have a few in.

Who did you hire it with?

I've had issues over there where they never have the actual model of car that you booked. Then they offer you a Camry....

I had a 2012 convertible when we were in California, same issue that two cases wouldn't fit in the boot, but being convertible it was easy to put it on the back seat..

Handy tip that works for me:

take the smallest possible amount of clothes with you to the states in a collapsible cabins sized gym bag and buy your clothes out there! Levi's $30, brooks shirts cheap as....especially with $/£ up @ $1.55 now labour are out of the way with their snp mates smile

Sadly I was surprised (or not) that it was the ecoboost- though I'm not going to complain as I did end up with a Mustang, and as someone said further up I was worrying I'd end up with a Focus or something.
Hired it from JFK airport through Budget. Really nice car and cannot actually believe it'll be around £30k when it hits the UK!
