Jaguar X Type 2.2D Sport Estate

Bought this as an airport runner (i travel a lot with my job) and as a weekend dog carrier / load lugger.
Seems to have all the toys you would want - leather, reversing sensors, electric seats, cd, climate, 6 speed manual box, etc, and is Sport spec so you get the sports suspension, bigger alloys, etc.
Interior is black carpet, dash, steering wheel, and biscuit coloured leather. Works really well. Not a big fan of black leather in a Jag - makes it all a bit dark for my liking.
Its 2005 with 103K miles, full history and just had a major service at 100K.
Genuinely went looking for a 2.5 v6 petrol or 3.0 v6 petrol one, but they are so hard to get, settled on this because of the spec and colour combo

Looks lovely but the diesels are rattly bags of nails - get some ear defenders maybe!But I may be biased as I have just gone from nearly 10 years of 4 cylinder turbo-diesel to straight 6 N/A petrol loveliness!
Colleague has one of these with nearly 170,000 on, most of them done by him. He irregularly services it (last gap between services was circa 25,0000 miles) and it gets used for the daily grind, commuting, work miles and transporting the kids. He recently changed a turbo hose and in the past its had trailing arm bushes and a driveshaft. That is it.
Every time I get in it I cannot believe how well made, rattle free and quiet it is for a car of this vintage. The quality of the interior inside is unbelievable (well his particular car is at least) and you would assume the 170,0000 was more likely 70,0000. The 2.2 also has plenty of go, feels alot more than 155bhp and the torque figure definitely benefits from the extra 200cc over some of its rivals. His has the same wheels as yours, those and the sport spec definitely help reduce the old man association etc a little.
