Having just got back from a 9 day trip to Lake Garda in the GTA. The GTA was awesome, a great mile muncher on the motorways and fantastic fun on the passes. The Busso V6 sound just cannot be bettered! I will post a proper review in the Roads section when I get time, but here are a few pics for now.

Great photos and great car OP.

Sorry to hijack, but what are they like to live with? Possibly considering one but it needs to be a dependable daily for short-ish commute.

no way, I'm leaving on saturday to drive over to Garda via Stelvio.

How was it? Car looks great, must be pretty rare being a 55 and white!

Thanks guys, will put a link up when I get round to downloading all the pics.

I averaged 31.3mpg according to the computer for the 2127 mile trip. Really pleased with that considering some of the enthusiastic driving I did.

I would not hesitate recommending a GTA to anyone, just make sure you buy a good one with comprehensive service history.

Enjoy your trip to Garda Graham, I'm looking forward to my next (unplanned) trip already!

32mpg average is amazing, my GTV V6 never got above 26mpg and I have a light right foot

Nice car OP, always wanted to do something similar myself but never found the time while I was in the UK.

I would not recommend buying a GTA if you are worried about economy, the 3.2 busso likes to gulp fuel rather than sip it when being enjoyed.

Very easy to get it down though wink

I'm currently average about 20mpg. Worth every penny for that soundtrack though!!

I nearly had a panic attack after I bought mine and was playing about with the various toys, as once I got to the trip computer it was reading 14 mpg average over ~1000 miles! Thankfully, after resetting it and measuring it brim-to-brim it stayed at 14 but I was actually getting low 20's, I did wonder what I had let myself in for though hehe

OP, I can't think of a better car for the trip, very jealous! smile

Lovely car and photos.

How the hell to you get above 30 mpg?

I struggle to get more than about 22 out of mine (no computer but by brimming the tank).

It's worth it though!

Beautiful car - Nuvola white ones look incredible.

By strange chance I have done a very similar drive in a Busso V6, but only a mere 2.5 for the Screwball Rally a few years ago. It still sounded fantastic on those mountain roads however with the engine note reverberating off the rock face on one side of the road.

Hoping to go back soon with my 370Z.
