Hello all,
After driving my 05 plate diesel Honda Accord for a couple of years, I decided that my life needs something a bit more exciting! So after a few weeks I bought my first BMW!
It is 2004 E46 330i m sport,
120k miles on the clock,
18 inch mv2 alloys,
Business edition audio system,
Gray leather seats.
What has been done so far:

What has been done so far:
- Fan Belt
- Air con belt
- OSF Anti roll bar link
- Rocker cover gasket
- Oil filter housing seal
- Track control bushes
- Front new Tyres
- Straight exhaust pipes
- Silver carbon interior wrap
So far I love it ! Future plans :
- Upgrade audio system
- New Alloys
- Sort out rust patches on both front wings
- Replace gear knob to match interior
Looks in decent condition that 
Hello from a fellow E46 owner! and would suggest a few things.
Mainly get the PCV valve (breather system on the engine) checked or replace that and the pipes as they do have a habit of clogging up resulting in excessive oil consumption. Do keep an eye on the oil level since these engines do have a thirst for them depending how they were bedded in.
Gearknob - I got a Stormwerks one, and this does help improve the shift. Coupled with a Z4 shifter, it reduces the throw quite a bit.

Take that advice. My oil usage was huge until I changed my CCV valve, it was half clogged with the mayo like stuff you usually see in the filler cap. I put a warm climate one in mine (which is a pain to DIY, but doable) which is supposedly slightly less likely to clog again.
Let us know when your oil level sensor gives up too.
Looking for some MV2's for mine. I will very generously offer to swap my MV1's for yours.
