So here is my new car (for the wife mainly) I pick her up next week. It's a Volvo C30 T5.

I want to play around with it a little (tastefully) and am thinking of ...

1. Full Service and health check (need a VOLVO indy near Blackpool if anyone knows.....)
2. Tinted Windows in the rear - not black out, just darker
3. Wrap for the roof in the same colour as the body kit (Java Pearl I believe) and maybe the roof spoiler and wing mirrors too.
4. Light map to boost power to 260 and maybe improve fuel efficiency)
5. Add a Parrot or similar device

Anyone else had one of these before? Any thoughts on other little things to be getting on with? You know, little mods that aid the driving experience, but not stuff like coil overs, bigger turbo, et al.

Any thoughts / advice will be gratefully received

I use hire cars on a weekly basis and regularly get these. Very comfy to drive and never had any issues with them.

Granted I have never ran one as my own car but either way not a bad steer.

My only grips is the adaptive cruise control which one day will cause a horrific accident in my opinion.

I don't rate Parrot gear much but Dension make some lovely ones that bundle in Bluetooth, DAB, Bluetooth audio.

Nice little car smile

I was seriously tempted by these while I was looking for the Ti, the small boot aperture was just too small for me though. Nice choice.

Are these essentially a Focus ST?

Yes. Suspension is a bit softer and interior a bit nicer though.

I'm disappointed, I was looking forward to some 1980s wedge! Looks nice though.

Funnily enough I owned a red ES back in 1998. I loved it, it seemed so futuristic at the time smile I also wanted to get a celebration mode at some pointl, just never ended up doing so.
