Hi everyone,
been lurking on the site for a while and never posted a thing. Bought this back in june or july as i had been looking for a 205 this last few years or so after selling the first one i had. as usual when i go to buy anything they've skyrocketed in price and are scarce on the ground, this was no different. Got in contact with a fella off the site who had one stood in his garage this last few years, wasn't advertised. He said he had plans for it but and just hadn't the time. When he got it he put timing belt kit on it and serviced it before parking it away. Arranged to view after a few weeks, viewed, thought and then bought.

its a black, phase 1.5 1.9 - non sunroof model.
It's got a full Peugeot stamped history, 64k genuine miles, folder of MOTS, receipts, original books, 2 previous owners.

The car as it is now is as original. Parcel shelf, clarion radio, original keys, mats, mudflaps.

Boot floor, inner wings, below seats, floor pan all solid, having a car lift is very handy.
All the trims are in great shape as are the lights and driving lamps.
Interior is more or less immaculate bar a few slight blemishes.

the car at the minute is stripped back for repairs at the rears of both sills, once this is finished its onto the paint booth and get it back together for the 'good' weather.

anyhow, ive been gathering as much NOS 205 bits as i can and have a nice collection if i ever need anything for this. Cant wait to get it completed and enjoy it like it should be.

heres some pictures
my first love maybe someone on here has it?

Late 80'd early 90's...my era.
I had an AX GTi and 3 Honda CRXs, 1v and vtec

'involving' machines.

Always good to see an unmolested neat and tidy example, because having owned that type of car you know the temptation to 'mod' it is huge...

indeed theres not much modded on it to be fair. but it still needs TLC. nothing major and i like leaving things right so its no biggie for me. i also have a phase 1 1.6 white, its just out of MOT but was cheap and needs a good shell to save it ( have one ) so its also in the pipeline.

Excellent find sir, and it looks great, so good to see one that hasn't been molested by the PH equivalent of Jimmy Saville .....

That looks lovely and low milage too. I've been looking at these for the past year and all the good ones seem to go for good money. Good find!

Lovely! Such low mileage as well. Great to see another non-sun-roof car, here's a gratuitous piccy of mine. She's currently tucked away in the garage awaiting the Spring.

For a 25 year old car the GTi really isn't showing its age, and this one is a wee cracker. Keep the updates coming smile

Would you sleep better knowing it was cheap for a low owner low mile, but not ridiculously cheap?

They seem to be making mental money at times, but I wanted lower miles just for the sake of having it really. The opportunity arose and I had to have it lol
