Volvo V90 and a black roof on the T5...
Discussion
This will divide opinion! Some like it, some don't. Our Audi has a black roof (as do many other cars, now) so I thought what the hell.
My first attempt with rubber paint looked horrible, then we messed up wrapping it, so I let the guy near our lockup spray it for me...

Most of the Volvo fans seems to like it, although despite it looking more finished in the flesh, someone did suggest it looks unfinished due to me not painting the rest of the roof and rear spoiler.
Next up, we set of for leamington Spa at 6.00am Sat morning tp pick up this 117k miles 3.0 six cylinder luxo-barge..
Coming home to Kent gave it a good test seeing as we got stuck in approx 3.5 hours of M25 traffic. She behaved well I'm glad to say, although the £40 of fuel I stuck in it had all but vanished on our return.
No real issues to speak of, just a tidy up of the rear bumper if I get round to it and a sunroof which tilts but doesn't slide, but other than that, it's a lovely, lazy cruiser. I paid £595 for it with 13 months MOT.
Whilst not exactly rare, they are hardly common to see creeping around. I would imagine the price new was quite expensive given my old 1998 V70 T5 had an original bill of sale for around 34k.
I also found out that this auto model has just over 200 bhp compared to the lower powered manual.

I love both of those, as my Dad is a Volvo fanatic. I grew up with the marque and there's always been one in the family. He currently smokes around in a 'R' plate 940 2.3 turbo that he's fettled. There can't be that many late V90's around, and I've heard great things about the 3.0 six.
I was useless with Airfix stickers, so trying such a large panel with vinyl was never going to end well. Actually, it started off ok, then I ripped it!
Still not sure on whether to get the spoiler done. Some say it will be too much, some say do it...
Mirrors are not a bad idea.
I have a chrome version of the same lamps which may look a little less 'bling' and more in keeping with the original design. I may have a go at fitting those
