About 10 years ago I bought my mates 1.5 diesel 106 and used it for a 110 mile commute every day for 3 months. It was brilliant and bulletproof. Used to run forever on a tank of diesel. Wonder if the petrol ones are as good!

I daily drive a £270 Peugeot 205 diesel and have put nearly 9k on it. It's been spot on and probably the cheapest form of transport I've ever run. It's also a bloody blast. Enjoy.

Being in Switzerland I like the idea of All Season tires. I could get some Falken Euro All Season AS200 for £120 fitted. What do you think?

No experience of those specific tyres, but Falkens are a good brand. From memories of my younger brother's old 106, the tyre size is tiny (something like 155/70/R13) so tyres should be relatively cheap.

Looks good on the 106 Rallye, but not sure whether it would look good on a silver car. As you said, white wheels work best when there is a strong contrast between the body colour and the wheel colour.
