Piaggio Ape Project

This Piaggio Ape was a project the other half bought with the intention of turning it into a prosecco van, but with work and time now being an issue it never got started.

It has been sold today but I cannot help but love it, certainly the most random vehicle I've driven so far!




Not seen many of these about, and certainly sad to see it go. It is going to be worked on by its new owner and a pizza oven fitted in the back for their new venture

These are great fun! Handling is erm...... Interesting. Very easy to get onto 2 wheels!

Did you import it or was it UK bought? What's a prosecco van?

It was bought from Essex however I belive it is an import. The idea was to have the rear kitted out with pumps and barrels of prosecco to serve at weddings and other events.

First viewer came last night and bought it. There has been alot of interest in this, not that many around.
