Long time lurker first time poster! Car history.

Evening all! Avid petrolhead for as long as I remember, and have placed an order for my first brand new car (Golf R) last month. It's due in September. In the mean-time, *some of my car history.
2003 - 91 E36 325i. First proper car after a Fiesta & Saxo, LSD, beige interior, ditch finders and some interesting wet handling characteristics. Taught me a lot about my car control or lack there of.

2004- 98 UK Impreza 2000 Turbo. Great car, kept it standard other than H&S exhaust.

2006- 2000 Audi S3. Remapped (not brilliantly) to 260BHP, bit of a lemon, I think. Judging by the amount of glue on and around the wheel arches it had spent some time at Santa Pod. Live and learn! Nice interior though.

2007- 2001 Clio 172 Phase 1. Loved it, took my back to the early days of the Saxo just with more power and less lift off oversteer. Had some decent mods, including a remap (would rev to 8000 rpm amusingly!) H&R springs, top mounts, H&S exhaust. No issues, think it's still out there somewhere!

2009- 2000 UK Impreza 2000 with PPP (Prodrive Performance Pack). Enjoyed my green one but always craved more power, this seemed like the next step. Good noise, good power, excellent damping and control, shokny brakes! Although better than the 98. Sold to a guy in France!

2012- 09 MK5 Golf R32. Heavy? Yes. Not that Fast? No, not really. Sound good? Absolutely! Have to say i really enjoyed owning this. Fantastic GT car and my first experience of a dual clutch (the MK7 R will be a manual). Refined, comfortable and despite the V6 in the nose handled well. Don't carry to much speed in, then just nail it at the apex. Silly Tax though!

2014- 08 Megane R26. Bigger, faster Clio. Really enjoyable, can see why they got good reviews at the time. Kept it standard and clean. Felt quick for it's claimed 230BHP.

2014- 02 EP3 Type R. co- owned for 2 months took it to the Nurburgring, thrashed it mercilessly round that place for 4 days. Bought it home, put some pads on it, replaced the oil, moved it on! Ideal for the job.

2015- 04 996 C4S. IMS & RMS done, Dansk Exhaust, other than that, standard. Absolutely faultless. Brilliant to own, not massively expensive to run. My first Porsche, it wont be my last.

Thanks for reading, looking forward to getting more involved in PH. Great community. Hopefully the picture links work. :-)
