Race Blue 2013 Octavia vRS Estate
Discussion
Hunted high and low, driven the DSG and manual gearboxes, and made a deal at my local Skoda garage. I have gone for a 2013 Octavia VRS Estate in Race Blue with the manual gearbox.
It has 55k on the clock with a full Skoda service history and comes with a 12 month Skoda warranty also. It has one previous owner and is Skoda used approved. In an ideal world I would have liked the black pack, nav and the grey alloys but this was the bes option financially and practically for me. I must admit that the 18" Pictoris wheels are growing on me. Here are a few dealer photos:

I love the Race Blue and I'm very excited to pick her up in a weeks time. The dealership are completing their vehicle checks and making me up some number plates so I can put my own plate straight on. In terms of plans for it, I'm thinking maybe minor enhancements to replicate the "black pack" look, maybe have the wheels painted and putting a Brodit phone mount on the dash to sort out the lack of nav issue. I will also be fitting my dashcam (Transcend DrivePro 200) to the front and may get another for the rear. A rubber boot protector is also a must to stop the pooch ruining the carpets!
I will of course get some decent pictures when I pick her up

Looks like she's in good hands.
I've got a diesel manual VRS - I've done 12k since the end of last year in it and been very pleased with it as an all-round daily driver. I took a view of spending 20k on an almost brand new car to do me on an everyday level for the next 10 years or so, these do a lot very well.
