Renaultsport Megane RS250 Cup
Discussion
Hello! This is my 2011 Megane RS250 Cup, I bought it factory original a year and a half ago to be my daily driver and occasional track day toy. It took a couple of months to find as I was quite specific about the spec but it was worth waiting for the right one.
As it is used daily and needs to be relatively comfortable I have resisted the urge go too mad stripping it out etc but I have made a few changes. The first change was a set of H&R lowering springs that have improved the arch gap while keeping the ride and handling pretty much the same as the factory set up. Then I fitted a 3" KTEC cat-back exhaust and swapped the optional 19" diamond cut wheels for some more track tyre friendly 18" cup wheels but these were later replaced with the 18" Braid wheels it currently has.

After owning the car for a year or so and enjoying it on a few track days I decided to add some more power. I took a long drive up to RS Tuning in Leeds who fitted a Pro Alloy intercooler, decat and remapped the car to 307hp, lets just say the drive home was much more interesting than the drive up! The car is a different animal and I feel that the chassis is more than capable of handling the extra power.

No more track days for this year, so will be changing the tyres over soon but looking forward to getting out in it again next year!
