Project Integrale complete

Hi guys

Long time watcher of these forums but only ever posted a few times. So please be nice ??
So I've had a project car on the go for the last 18 or so months with it finally now being complete. I always wanted a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo Martini since I were a little kid, but with prices being what they are (50k +) there was no way I was going to be able to afford one anytime soon. We sourced a good Integrale 16v car from Italy (rust free) and converted the body to EVO spec. We fitted new BC Coilovers, power flex bushes, exhaust, basically anything that needs changing was replaced with factory original parts or an aftermarket performance upgrade. I guess you could say the car is a sort of resto mod... We fitted a new interior inc carpet, seats (re trimmed in black leather) headlining etc. We sent the car to a local Italian specialist where the engine was rebuilt, which included performance cams, new eprom chip, cone filter, Bailey dump valve and dyno time (car now produces approx 250hp at the wheels) giving the car a really smooth liner power curve. There are a few things I'm still wanting to do, like change the steering wheel along with a colum extension, as I'm finding the wheel a little too far a stretch.......
I hope you enjoy the pics, it's a beautiful looking car in person with no expense being spared. I've copped a load of st for the build from certain Lancia forums for the car being a 'recreation' or a 'fake' EVO which is a real kick in the teeth after a lot of money and hard work as gone in to it. There's always haters I guess. Anyway, it's my car and I LOVE it. I hope you guys can appreciate all the time and effort that's gone it to keeping another a integrate on the road. ??

Not sure why it's created the stir that it has. I've said from day 1 it's a converted 16v and not an EVO. It's a great car that's been built extreamly well, in fact it's probably one of the cleanest integrales in the UK. It's great to drive & I absolutely love it. A childhood dream come true 👍

Moreover, why be bothered by it? Surely you've spent time/effort/money on building a stonking car to enjoy it. Why on earth would a bunch of strangers' opinions make any difference?

I'm not that bothered tbh. I just thought it quite weird that grown men can act in such a immature way, and unable to appreciate a well built car. School playground stuff really lol.

That's fantastic OP. At the end of the day it's an Integrale enhanced to your desired specification, and as such that's very very cool IMO. Enjoy!

Are you Lancashire based by any chance? Not sure how long you've had it white and white the evo spec spoiler ectect but saw a white one early this year/last year scooting around blackpool which I have never seen around before, or since even.

I'm based down south, near Brighton. There must me a similar one about up north 👍

Thanks very much. It's built to my spec down to every bolt. It's been a long project, but certainly with it 👍

It's a corking car. You really shouldn't care what anyone thinks of it. Top effort for building something in your own vision - not many people will get the opportunity to do that.

is there still a integrale garage around that area ? went to look at a couple many years ago at a so-called specialist. were both dogs. just can't remember exactly where.

There's Ferdi's in Lytham which is an Alfa/Italian specialist garage, nice bloke he is, does some top work. Not sure about a specific Integrale garage though

remembered it now. Northwest Integrale. I'm going back 15 plus years. Poulton-Le-Fylde. back when Integrales were 8k !!!

Don't get the hate to be honest, it looks awesome. It's not different to someone putting a 22b style wide arch kit on an Impreza coupe, it's not a replica it's just a cool car with wide arches.
