I did try to add bigger, but will try to get some more at the weekend smile

Not had it long tbh, build has taken a while due to waiting on parts and fitting them in.

I have only taken it to Snetterton so far, I have 2 trackdays booked for last Ines of the year (Saturday 15th Oct and Sunday 13th Nov). Next year however, I will be looking to take it to Cadwell Park.

My bad, I had posted on the cutters forum and copied across jester

I originally had a E46 330ci which was a road legal track car which also had quite a bit of work, but wanted something that will be less harsh on cumsumbales and also something which I could trailer easily smile

So whats the better track car?? I am looking for a track car and having had clios in the past and know a fair bit about them and currently drive a f10 m5 i keep getting drawn to a bmw straight six...... strip one out etc and may become quite fun...

Atm I can't comment as I've only been on track once in the Clio.

However, out of the box without having to do a lot to a car it would be the Clio but at the same time the BMW was very balanced. The straight six in the BMW however was lovely, as in silky smooth and a decent spread of torque. The BMW had the following spec:
- supersrint exhaust (cats/mid box/backbox)
- vmaxx bbk front/ pagid rs29 pads standard discs rear/ braided brake lines/ motul rbf600 fluid
- bilstein b14 coilover
- eibach top mounts and rear camber arms
- Shrick cams
- pipercross panel filter
- m3 bonnet
- fully polybushed inc diff carrier/ revshift gearbox mounts/ vibratechnic engine mounts
- clutch delay valve delete & braided clutch line
- fully stripped interior
- AC delete
- sparco seats & harnesses

Love this. I've got a 172 myself, albeit a lot more standard!

The subframe pics says they're being fitted to an RS3?

That looks like a lovely spec for a Clio 182, and probably not miles away what I would do to a track 1*2 TBH!

Threads like these do make me miss the 172 of mine! In many ways I preferred it to my 323i.

There can be a few egos on forums and willy waving! I'll have to go and take a look on M3Cutters for the thread smile.
