Bought this a few weeks ago. 2005 2.0 NC MX5 in grey/tan leather.
I've always wanted an MX5, even when I bought the RX8 years ago, but now I need a second car so why not something fun? I thought it would have been an NA/NB but given the price and capability of the NC its a much more usable car and just as much fun.
It started life in Japan, once it got to 10 years old they ship them off shore to NZ, the first NZ owner bought it and put less than 3000 kilometres on it..
Its got Tan Leather, Xenon HID's, a nice noisy back box exhaust upgrade, bose stereo etc. 133000kms and no service history. I plan on doing all the servicing etc myself if I can, seems like fun..
So far I have used some pipe insulation to kill a nasty rattle behind the seats/under the hood storage area, and fixed a side repeater. Just got a BT OBD2 reader so that should be fun.
Also added a leather wheelskin to cover the steering wheels failing pvc..
