My Boosted Pug 205 Gti

I purchased my car in September 2015. I wasn't looking for anything at the time , however this car was spotted by a friend , so off we went to Livingston to have a look.
It was surprisingly tidy and allready had the conversion installed along with the correct engine mounts.
A stainless custom exhaust , and 306 gti calipers and discs along with a rebuilt beam were all there.
I shall upload some more pictures in a while , Photobuckets being arsey right now.

Anyway the engine installed is a 406 Sri engine , 2.0 litre 8 valve turbo.
Standard 150 ish bhp , i installed a Gizmo Boost controller and had the car Rolling roaded.
This gave a figure of 197 Bhp , and if i can recall 255 foot pounds of torque.
This gives the car effortless overtaking abilities , no matter what gear you are in.

It's quite a rare conversion now to see, I guess in part due to the GTi-6 engine being readily available from Xsara VTSs and 306 GTi-6s.

It's refreshing to see something like this. Do you have more info of the car at all?

That's a lovely 205 you have there mate seen that about in Livingston a few times. Bet it goes well.

Great car, i can vouch for the over taking ability of a turboed 205. I had a 1.9 gti turbo technics in the late 90's. That was slightly up on standard boost and made 225 bhp, can't remember the torque figure. Haven't got many photos of it. The one car i wish i had never sold
