SWMBO's (nearly) new car - Something a bit different

After her corsa died a sudden death due to a hole in the head, the hunt was on to find a replacement. All the usuals were investigated, but in the end it came down to a decision between a bright green Corsa Sting 1.0l Turbo or a 1.4l turbo Adam S. The corsa was winning the battle until it was discovered that it lacked heated wing mirrors, something that annoys me about my VXR8! SWMBO was a bit upset by this, but decided to try out the Adam. She loved it and we pick it up next weekend.

It really is a great little car, and with 150BHP it certainly goes well. Handling is good and with the Corsa VXR brakes it also stops well. It has a very good spec and is only 8 months old so has the balance of warranty still on it.

Sounds like a fun combo- I must ask though, why go Vauxhall again after the dramatic and untimely death of the Corsa?

Good question. Not really to be honest, the corsa has generally been neglected to be fair, and comparing an 11 year old car to an 8 month old car in terms of production values is a bit hard. With only 3-400 Adam S' showing on howmanyleft, it is also another fairly rare car which is pretty cool.
