Long time lurker, finally getting round to making a thread in here!

I had been promising myself a track car for a while so when this came up locally, had to have it! 1999 Puma 1.7 16v

The previous owner had built it to go on a Nurburgring road trip as his Trabant clearly wasn't quick enough!
He had added EBC discs with Yellowstuff pads, full set of Toyo T1Rs, K&N57 induction kit & a set of AP coilovers - all sensible modifications!
It's had the belt done, one weld on a sill - generally drove really really well!
Since purchasing it, I put it on a diet - everything stripped behind the front seats, Direnza 4-2-1 manifold with a Hoffman centre section & added the stupid spoiler for a laugh (it was free)

& unfortunately after just two track days just about killed an engine - it used 5l of oil on an open pit at Knock hill!
Nursed it home & err...promptly purchased another for the princely sum of £150

Have just stuck the black one into storage until after Christmas where I'll get the engine out of it & scrap the shell!
May as well poly bush as much as I can whilst it's getting a new heart, as well as a set of Nankang NS2Rs seeing as I'll have a spare set of wheels!

Got the track bug real bad now & in the dry at Knockhill was hounding Clio 182s through the twisties....only to be left sitting on the straight however!
