I'm finally the owner of a Ferrari
Discussion
So, 30 odd years after putting a poster of a 250 GTO on my bedroom wall I've finally done the man maths and bought a Ferrari. This was ultimately something of a compromise, it's not a 250 GTO. It's not a manual either...but I love it.
The noise is just sublime...it's mechanical at low revs and just sings past 5000 rpm. The F1 box is brilliant, once you get used to it (read the manual) and I'm not sure I'd prefer the manual. The driving position is odd, but doesn't detract from the experience. More to follow, but some pics of my pride and joy!

My old superior had a 360, he said people would come up to him and say 'whats it underneath?'The noise is just sublime...it's mechanical at low revs and just sings past 5000 rpm. I used to say it was just jealousy
well done , too many people scrimp and save for old age and end up scared to spend any money , life is too short to not have what you want if you can afford it, congratulations, enjoy it.

Congratulations! Looks lovely, I'm interested to know what's odd with the driving position.
Have you ever bought an Italian jumper with large written on it
