Sold My E36.......
Discussion
And now regretting it quite a lot.
Where to start..... 318is on 162k miles. Good condition for her age however was starting to play up a little so after finding out that I needed spend a least another £500 to keep her going (on top of the £2k spent in the last 15 months) I got rid of her.
Went in p/x against a Renault Laguna.
Wish I had spent the money & kept the E36.
Regret letting this go.

I've been there in the past and TBH it can be good to let go! But a Laguna? Do you like playing French Roulette?Where to start..... 318is on 162k miles. Chin up my friend. I've regretted selling a few cars in the past but TBH you have to look to the other side
.So how much money did the dealer give you plus the Laguna?
I occasionally have those brain freeze moments when you do completely illogical things, it's like an out of body experience.
You need to start a thread about how reliable the Laguna is, if only to prove you did the right thing.......... maybe

I thought I recognised it, I was going to go up and view it but then the listing ended

Still finding it difficult to justify it to myself let alone you lot however.....
Needed a car that was newer with less miles due to me driving some weeks over 700 miles. The E36 had in excess of 160k miles on the clock & was starting to show her age.
Couldn't afford to be without a car & couldn't run the risk of breaking her completely so made a snap decision to let her go.
Got offered a decent deal so I took it.
In an ideal world I would have kept the E36 & bought something else. This is not an ideal world so she had to go.
Regretted it when I drove off the forecourt in the other car & regret it now. Always will as had intended her to be a keeper however needs must.
I know where she has gone so hopefully the car will be looked after & maybe, one day, I will get her back.
