Honda S2000 - 1 year down the line

So, exactly one year ago today, I part ex'd my Honda Civic EP3 that I had from new in 2003. I loved that car, but it was time for a change.

Best decision I've ever made, a 2008 Honda S2000 with just over 64,000 miles on the clock. What a car, it's been an amazing year of ownership.
She's been pampered since day 1, full professional detail including a single stage polish, all the wheels were refurbished and shod with Federal 595 RSRs. Brake pads were changed to Ferodo DS2500s with a full brake fluid change to Motul RBF600. All the other fluids were also changed when the service interval came up. She's also had MeisterR ZetaR coilovers installed, full geometry done, and an Apex'i N1 single exit exhaust fitted.
This picture was taken after she was detailed, but before the coilovers were installed.
I used her as the daily car for 8 months, but in the last 4 months have been using a beatup 2000 Nissan Micra, to keep the commuting miles down on the S2000 and also to minimise exposure to the salt and grit on the road. Roll on the Spring and Summer.
So what are the plans for the second year? Well I'd love to put a supercharger in, but monies - or lack of - makes it a bit unfeasible for the time being. However, there are lots of little things that need doing, the headlights need some attention, they have dulled and have loads of little stress fractures, so new ones may be needed. There are a couple of tears in the soft top, although repaired, are a bit unsightly, so a new top could be on the cards. A front end respray is tempting as the bonnet and bumper have picked up the usual stone chip damage. There's a couple of door dings and one on the hard top that I wouldn't mind having seen to. Oh, and probably the more pressing thing is the cat has started rattling, so a replacement / alternative will need to be sourced at some point.
All in all though, am I happy with the car, you bet I am. Top down, foot down.

Glad you are enjoying the car, they do seem to get under your skin a bit. My only advice is 'keep it as standard as possible' the market is full of modified S2000's, lightly modded cars are often a better bet, but then again I'm old and it's your car so do what you want with it.

If you get a new roof make sure you file and smooth the frame else the roof will chafe on it.
I filed mine and fitted some clear bouncy castle repair patches on the inside just in case. You couldn't see them but they'd take the brunt of any wear.

Thought about the "uk exhaust mod" for a cheap way of getting a little more noise without being silly?

Are they not AP2V3's at the moment?Car looks great OP. As above, I'd keep it is standard as possible (but I'm bias, mine is 100% stock ATM)
Rear spoiler is maybe the only thing I'm considering which when I look at pics seems great... Then I walk into the garage and see mine without and think... Naaah
