Please Help!!!

Need help in locating a vehicle which used to be owned by my mother in the 90's. Sadly my mother passed away and we would love to find her most loved dream car and have it back. It was a Toyota MR2 Registration M699 KOG in Goodwood Green. I have been searching for this vehicle for nearly two years and all I know that it has been SORN'd and is no longer insured since 2014. I am hoping it is in a garage somewhere and fingers crossed the owner would like to sell it or maybe would sell it in the future.

Hi

I am the owner of the MR2 in goodwood green registration M699 KOG. I purchased the vehicle back in 09, from a chap in Bolton. It was my first car and the car I always wanted to own and in goodwood green too. The car is currently sorn and is sitting in my garage as it's been doing so for the past 3 years as I don't have the time nor the 'space' as I now have 2 kids so it's not practical. I do love the car a lot and had plans to put her back on the road, she needs a new exhaust, alternator, and maybe a new spark plug cable.. If I got offered the right money I would look at selling her as I know these classics are increasing in value and she as only done 73K.. The car is now located in Londonderry as I moved there 3 years ago from Manchester. My email is rizzykhan@hotmail.com

As I am currently in Manchester visiting folks and my car is located in Londonderry it won't be till after the 23rd of May when I'll be able to take some more pics of her in her current state.

I have now emailed the owner looking to buy her back whatever the condition, its been a long wait to find her. Hopefully a happy ending to a sad story.
Thanks everyone I cannot say how ecstatic I am and a big thank you to the current owner for making contact.

Fingers crossed I really hope so too, thanks. Definately a restoration back to showroom standard. My mom had it for ten years and it was well looked after she loved that car.

How I stumbled across this thread you ask.. Call it weird or a coincidence whatever you like..

I was basically messing around on google searching for my dads old E reg Sierra Sapphire or even if the number plate was available for sale but got no results. Anyway I enter the plate of my own car not expecting any results and strangely enough this forum came up in the search results via Google which left me a little baffled, so I read the post and was like in a bit of a shock. Like what are the coincidences of that happening someone else was looking for their late mothers car (for 2 years) and I happen to OWN it. I completely understand the sentimental value and can totally relate.

The MR2 might be my first car and the car I always wanted to own and I might have had some amazing memories but I think this car means more to the person who posted than it does to me.
I will sort something out with Sam and hopefully get the car over to England as soon as I am able to do so.
In the meantime I will keep you guys posted with the developments and some pictures coming your way soon as I fly back to Northern Ireland next week.
