MK1 MR2 part 2
Discussion
I regretted selling my first MK1 MR2 so much I've hankered after another one ever since, having a new car under warranty as my daily meant I also had nothing to tinker with... so I bought another MR2. The value of these seems to be creeping up, some mint ones are fetching over £4k so I thought I'd grab another one whilst they are still reasonable!
1989 T Bar, got lots of history with it and a service book thats literally full!

I have a few small jobs to do that I've spotted so far - alignment, thermostat and adjust the throttle cable. Within a day of it being home one of my neighbours kindly put that small door dent in the drivers front wing! Never spotted which neighbour though otherwise I'd be having words!
Its not perfect, but I didn't pay perfect money for it, some rusty cars without MOT are going for £700-£1000 now. Its completely solid and an honest car, the paintwork needs a little tidying in places but overall its a good example. The T bar seals have been replaced so its leak free too.
Looking forward to some summer motoring in it

Nice choice, got to love a wedge with pop-ups. Really like these though I've not owned one yet. They are almost through the retro phase and in danger of getting into classic car territory now so I'm sure the price of good ones will continue to rise somewhat.
Your one here looks tidy, I'll be interested to see your updates, hopefully they'll be no horrors lurking. Have you had a decent squint underneath it yet? Those bodykit panels can hide some rust sins, rear arches often seem to go on these...

Well the car has popped its cherry on my favourite local B-roads tonight.

My to do list is steadily growing:

My to do list is steadily growing:
- Manual choke
- Thermostat & coolant flush
- Jimi Bracket
- Alignment
- Full Service
- Exhaust touches body somtimes and vibrates (normally when cold)
- A heat shield is either loose or touching the exhaust when under light load
