2011 Audi A3 Black Edition
Discussion
Have not posted in a while....
The last time I posted I had just bought a BMW 1 series and had just started my new job after graduation and as I got a good degree I treated my self to a 2012 BMW 320d M-sport. The car was a beast and going from a 116i to this was a change as you can imagine!
For all of you considering a 2008 BMW 116i M-Sport, it is the worst BMW you can get. I spent most of my student loan fixing the piece of crap.

The BMW treated me really well and it is exactly what I wanted, luxurious and fast! I got obsessed with a robotic arm giving me the seat belt lol. I had to get a new car because I needed a 5 door due to family.
I have always wanted a 4x4 and the insurance was always stopping me and at 21 I checked every car and the VW Touareg was the most affordable on insurance. So I swapped the BMW for the torque monster.

I loved the Touareg, the torque and the goodies inside were amazing. The problem - tax and fuel. My god the v6 diesel was a thirsty thing - getting 25 mpg avg was breaking my bank. So I had to sell up. (The back of the Touareg has to be one of the meanist looking SUVs out there, the front I am unsure of).
So moving on... I managed to find a really good deal on a 101k mileage 2011 Audi A3 Black Edition, I've read online that the 2.0 tdi is bullet proof so I was not fussed about it having high mileage. The car is amazing, 1 owner and owned by a middle aged chap in Oldham.
The car is quick, plenty of torque and enough space for a family. I will be keeping this one for a while.

Fuel wise - £60 gets me around 600 miles and £30 in tax, it is perfect for cruising up and down the A1M as I do. Like I said the Audi will be staying for a while, the Mrs does not believe me - come on, 8 cars in 4 years is not bad!!!!

I concur... I just cant get excited about most modern cars. I refuse to be tarnished by the "young of today" brush though...."Black Edition Badge" - hmmm interesting
Theres a time and a place for bog standard euroboxes, and they do make good daily hacks, but my god they're dull...
