My small fleet
Discussion
After attending yesterdays Sunday Service I thought I should at least introduce my cars properly.
'96 Audi A4 1.8T

Owned for 10 years and covered 120,000 miles with me (purchased on 78,000) and has been used at Bedford Autodrome on many occasions. It was supposed to be the daily hack and not be modified at all. Whoops
Won't go into all the bumpf but making 256bhp and 265ft/lb. There's a good chunk more to be had once we sort the current and terrible intercooler out.
'04 Audi TT Roadster 3.1

Decided in Nov '15 to embrace my midlife crisis and after viewing several 225 lemons a friend suggested the V6. Test drove, loved it, left a deposit and not being a turbo figured I wouldn't mess with it. Bar a change of wheel colour on the, a Pioneer BT stereo and a comfort indicator kit (fitted 20 mins ago) it's pretty untouched.
'89 Ford Escort RS Turbo

Owned this one since I was 19, suffice to say I am not 19 now. Car has been modified extensively and has been featured in both Performance Ford and Fast Ford magazines. She's a keeper
Hope that's not too short and sweet, looking forward to being a functioning member of the PistonHeads society.

Very nice, thanks for posting up the extra pictures.
Tell us more about the RS - what modifications are on it, have you had to do any work to the shell (rust/welding etc)?
Escort spec from memoryTell us more about the RS - what modifications are on it, have you had to do any work to the shell (rust/welding etc)?
Engine
Low comp pistons
Shot peened rods
Extensively worked head
Kent CVH35 cam with vernier pulley
Hybrid T3 turbo
Pace full size intercooler (one of the first batch, still have prototype charge carrier)
ERL water injection
ERL 5th injector kit
Scorpion exhaust system
Transmission
CTS Stage 2 box
Helix organic clutch
Suspension
Spax kit
Powerflex bushes throughout
Brakes
Focus ST170 front brakes
Stock drums (rear disc conversions always seem to leave these cars massively overbraked at the back)
Body
Part smoked rear lights
S1 bronze tint side glass
Clear inidcators and repeaters
6 point roll cage
Stripped interior
Took it off the road when I bought my first house and not got round to sorting it. Just needs a set of sills and it's good to go but time and other projects have gotten in the way. To be fair for the age and mileage the body isn't bad at all and the classic rotting sunroof is perfect.

Chuffing love the B5 - looking at getting a 1.8TQS Avant if the right one ever crops up. 256hp is healthy - did you upgrade to K03s / K04 etc etc?
It's received a few bits, the turbo is a total one of hybrid built for me by the Turbo Unit in Birmingham. Hoping once the cooling issues are rectified and it's back on the dyno we'll be near as makes no odds at 300bhpOranoco said:

Sounds good - I know the Turbo Unit do some great custom stuff so I'll have to check them out! Had a B5 1.8T with the AEB engine which responded well to bolt ons, made 225 with a K03s but was getting old and weary so sold it off. Do keep us posted on your progress with the A4
