I sold my Toyota Corolla Compressor a couple of weeks ago and have replaced it with one of these.

This car came up local to me, but has a few problems that need sorting. The rear wish bone bush is knackered, even though it has only done 150 miles and a month since the mot. The passenger window regulator has gone and the A/C needs looking at too. It could also do with the wheels putting back to the correct colour and some decent tires putting on it. The car was priced accordingly because of these faults, so at least I should be able to get the car how I would like it.

Here's a photo from the advert.

I've since removed the tinted windows and smoked rear lights. I've ordered some powerflex bushes and new balljoints, so I can refurbish the wish bones. I've also got a new window regulator on order.

Renault were offering a 70% contribution to fixing the window regs on these as it is a known issue. Although it's probably still cheaper to do it yourself.

Watch out for the front swivel hub bearings seizing as that again is a common issue.

Have fun with it - these are great cars!

Great cars to drive, but an absolute ball ache to work on.

Good luck
