This is probably one of those cars you didn't know existed, it was released in July last year apparently!
But here's what I picked up a few days ago, on lease for the business.
Brilliant offer I think (well the canopy made it slightly expensive). The truck without the back was £2800 down and £240 a month for 24m 8,000 miles a year, including canopy it's £316 but definitely worth it
I've only had it a few days now but I absolutely love it!
It might be excessively big for day to day use but apart from thinking it's wider than what it is, it's extremely easy and pleasent to drive.
Surprisingly it's very quiet on start up and general driving. A small amount of wind can be heard above 30 although not had chance to go on the motorway yet.
There's 3 versions I believe, 150hp, 180hp auto and 180hp manual. I got the latter which is also the top spec - there's literally no optional extras. Think it was towbar and bull bar then that's it?
From what I've found out playing inside it has:
-Heated leather seats
-Dual climate control is it called?
-Sat nav
-Reversing camera
-Cruise control
-Hands free
-Ipod connection/Sd card
-Auto wipers
-Xenon headlights
-Keyless entry
-Hill assist
Certainly takes away the commercial feel, however I can't personally see how someone such as a tradesman could drive this without being stung giving back in good nick. Be interesting to see how I get on with that in the end.

Haven't played with it yet but the fancy twist nob for selectable drive is 2WD/4WD high/4WD low/ 4WD lock. What's the 4x4 setup on them like?
Supposed to be decent as it's just a rebadged L200 basically.

Online business I do maybe 4k business related miles and 3k personal. Not big enough for a shop yet although that's hopefully on the cards this year
We picked up our new L200 on Friday, which as you say is the basis of the fullback; ours is the same (double cab, top spec Barbarian) except I didn't want to fork out for a hard top, had a tow bar fitted, and it's black. I can confirm, lovely to drive - I've always been a Land Rover man but with the defender gone there isn't really a usable new car option any more from them. The only reason we didn't even test drive the Fullback is because I rented a Fiat hatchback of some sort the week before we bought and hated its guts!
Have you been on the receiving end of nasty looks from friends and neighbours for buying a pickup? People seem to really hate them here haha. Thankfully I'm half American and my wife is Canadian so we at least have an excuse of sorts, and the in-laws love it!

Had a lot stopping and taking a look inside as they walk by though
I can park around the corner out of the way though if it causes issues bit generally there aren't many cars anyway.
Just done 100 miles myself!
Looking forward to the 280 mile trip down south to go on holiday, really comfortable comparable to the Fiat Bravo Sport I had.

I will next time, I'm just short on funds this year as I've just done my first year trading and didn't want to risk not being able to afford it for a few months.I did but as my uncle works at the Fiat Van place (wasn't him I dealt with though) it's been easier to get things sorted (and getting a tank of fuel on their business card
). I think the L200 same spec or similar was £100 more a month though, one of my friends just got one at £400+VAT! Although his mileage could be a lot higher, haven't asked the finer details.
