Well as I have a baby on the way I have taken the plunge and bought what people who don't know think is a sensible family car! It does all the sensible family car stuff but when I am on my own it does the car guy stuff as well so a pretty good mix if you ask me! Anyways a few pictures...

As you may have noticed I got rid of the V6T badges off the sides and replaced them with the supercharged ones and I have also fitted an injen intake to release a few more ponies and more importantly a bit of the supercharged whine that Audi tried to hide away.

Other than that I have just fitted a little rear bumper protector for putting stuff in and out of the boot!

I will be going down the tuning path at some point but have just moved house so funds are a little short at the minute!

Cheers for looking!

Absolutely love it, congrats! Would love one of these one day. I remember watching this vid a while back and was blown away with how much they improve with a stage 1 map.

Any plans for a Revo Technik remap?

Yeah I am thinking of going straight to stage 1+ revo which is a change of the supercharged pulley and DSG remap as well... should be a bit of a beast then, somewhere around the 480hp mark... I am gonna guess that the video that you have linked to is the chris Harris one?? That's the same time I realised I wanted one of these as well haha... Audi tuned them down so they weren't quicker than the RS4 anyway I believe it's a really good engine.

Great car! It's definitely one of my choices for a next car but I'm back to sure if I'm leaning towards a 340i estate. Did you look at anything else before picking the s4?

Love to see where you get to with mods.

I had an S3 before this and loved the Audi interior, then once I had seen the possibilities with these I definitely wanted one of these and with the fact my family is growing and I am a mountain biker and we have a dog it has to be an estate...I happen to think Audi do estates better than most as well so I was pretty set, the only other thing I was tempted with was a C63 estate but I would have had to find another 6-8k for one with similar spec and mileage... I can't wait to get modding either to be fair!

Fitted some paddle extenders today, the original ones were just too small for me to use where I like to hold the wheel so fitted these....

Yes the Chris Harris vid; the difference is huge, 10 car lengths over a standing mile just from a remap.

Just goes to show how much Audi pegged them back to maintain the pecking order! I am already so happy with my car just with the injen induction kit fitted to release a bit more supercharger whine!

Amazing, it's literally the ultimate day-to-day car, ticks all the boxes, and unlike many S and RS Audis it's widely agreed that the V6 TFSI S4 is an engaging steer.

I would rate it as one of the best do it all cars as well, it has a wicked turn of pace off the line even at half throttle and when it's rolling it is genuinely fast. With the modifications that can be done to these it turns them into a genuine super saloon! I am finding it to be much better on fuel than I thought, that being said I thought it would be terrible and it just isn't... I am getting between 250-280 miles to a tank doing mostly short journeys and the occasional blast, if you hooned everywhere it would be much nearer 200miles. The economy is better than the focus ST that I had and much better than an Impreza that I had and it's quicker than them both!

Do you know what, I was convinced beyond belief that these were a V6 petrol turbo. I could've sworn it. Call myself a petrol head.

Are current generation in fact turbo?

Current gen ones are now turbo yeah, I expect it's because of emissions... in your defence these do come from the factory with V6T written on the side of them as well!

So quite a bit has changed in the time since my last post, I bought a DTUK tuning box and the car is ALOTA faster now it’s running that... I suspect it’s running a good amount over 400hp now... I also now have a milltek exhaust fitted which sounds epic but behaves when you want it too... I started off with the resonated one but it was a bit too quiet for me so got some bargain non resonated sections and now it sounds like a GTR when fully lit but still does the sensible thing when required. I also got a gearbox mount from China that rips off the 034 mount at a 1/5th of the cost and I have fitted full interior led’s Including the number plate bulbs and the puddle lights.

Excellent Car! I'm sure the noise is insane!

Quick question; I have a mk6 golf gti with dsg and paddles, how easy are these to fit?

I've seen a guide on the Internet and it looked very complicated, I've done a few jobs on cars and consider myself semi skilled lol.

Again nice car! beer

In this case the extenders were really very easy to fit as they stick onto the existing paddles with some 3M tape! I think if you fit actual new paddles it probably would be very involved as you would have to have the wheel in bits I guess...

As for pictures of the car I will stick a few up:
