So my last car the Insignia 2.0 Turbo is up for sale as we are trying to save money for a house move. I have always liked estates but have never owned one, they are much nicer looking than any suv or crossover. I also wanted to scratch that RWD bug as I have only ever had FWD cars. So with this in mind and a budget to keep to I started my search and quickly narrowed down the search to either an E46 or E39.

I came across this very tidy 170k mile example. They body work for the age is exceptional to all the others I was looking at, the only down side being a few bubbles of rust on the arches and a couple of stone chips. The previous owners have not been afraid to throw money at the big maintenance bills that have cropped up. I struck a deal and the car was mine.

I have had my new daily driver around a month now. Already we have been to Manchester for a weekend and and it is honestly the most comfiest car for mile crunching. I genuinely got out the other end and did not ache, the mrs even managed to fall asleep which is unheard of for her. This stands us in good stead as we our off to Scotland at the end of July. All I have had to do is order a genuine E46 cup holder for the front, get the air con re gassed and a new set of wiper blades. In the future the headlights are only half xenon so I would like to have a full xenon ones as I would like to keep this for some time. The plan is to get moved and get a weekend car possibly an E46 M3 or 996 hey have both been on the bucket list for ages along with some others.

Anyway I need to stop waffling these are the pictures from the ad:
