Z4MC in Midnight Blue, and a few other things...
Discussion
Hi all.
Picked up this Z recently and couldn't be happier, it's phenomenal on the road and a dream come true to own. An Eisenmann exhaust & Eibach springs on CSL's with Pilot Sports really round it off nicely. I am desperate for some sunny weekends now to really put this machine to the test on some nice twisty A & B roads! It is a testament to the previous owner in every regard...
The power delivery and, particularly, road hold is outstanding compared to the S2000. Man maths dictates ANOTHER car made sense as the bikes do the brunt of my work & travel mileage (-;

Bloody hell, what colour is that S2000?
I've never seen a green one before, and I thought my old yellow one was rare!
Lime Green, someone on S2KI did some research and apparently just 4 left - 7 made for the UK and presumably 3 have ended up backwards through a hedge into the ditch! Not enough lairy bright colours around on these cars, yellow is really tasty too.I've never seen a green one before, and I thought my old yellow one was rare!
Goodwood,
Alpineweiss is outstanding on the Z and your photo there testifies to that. I know what you mean, the intention is to preserve the mileage and value but for that sonorous soundtrack and raw power... It's really hard to resist temptation.
Very rare to see that colour and on the Coupe, it looks fab!

I believe the coupe is 1 of 16 rhd in Alpine and the roadster is possibly the only rhd in Alpineweiss, though our’s has a blue and pink metal flake in it up close and is factory paint so possibly ‘Individual’?Goodwood,

Anyway, didn’t mean to hijack, just to acknowledge a great choice of car!
It was only a couple of weeks ago I was looking at S2000s but I just can’t help feeling it would be a step down. Looking for a manual e46 MS CS now instead.

The s2000 is a very potent car, and the real highlights are that incredible engine and 9000rpm redline - plus the gearshift, which is rifle bolt smooth. The reliability was a big factor for me as I didnt really want to risk a huge bill for anything dramatically failing. It's an experience owning one so don't say never

I'm not copying him, I swear! Besides, he seems way more 'hands on' with his mechanicals - I'll subscribe to his channel and admire the driving style. Thanks for the headsup!Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
