First registered in 2004. Car now has 400bhp and 400 lbsft of torque. I’ve owned it since 2012 and it’s never been out in the winter since then. It spends winters stored in a Carcoon

Very cool car. Was it supercharged when you bought it?

Those brakes though, how do they perform stopping such a heavy but powerful car?

No it was standard 260 naturally aspirated. I was very fortunate when I phoned Dreadnought as they were planning to stop supercharching the MG cars and thankfully they agreed to do my one and after they saw the condition it was in they thought there wasn’t a better one to close the chapter with

MG planned to make them Supercharged so the brakes are designed to take the power, rears are exclusive to this model

Pretty sure the front brakes are BMW E46 330i/Ci/d items.

I think you’re correct it’s also the same ones fitted to the ZT 190 but fitted trailing rather than leading. The tears are AP Racing the same that’s fitted to the Lotus Elise fronts

Looks like you're running Elise front calipers on the back.

Great car.
