Seat Leon Cupra ST 280
Discussion
Hi all!
This is my recently acquired Leon Cupra ST 280 in Nevada white.
I've come from a Peugeot 208 Gti that had a few bits and bobs done and was running around 240 BHP - that was fun but too small!
Having gained a dog, I needed something bigger. Also not wanting to feel like i was downgrading, I wanted something faster.
In my youth, I was and owner of an Ibiza Cupra PD160 which was fun. I like fast Seats, especially ones with the Cupra badge!
I have kept putting off buying 5 door hatchbacks as I never liked the lines of them compared to the 3 doors! But as always, there is always something rather cool about a fast estate, in my opinion anyway! Also, in my opinion, I think this looks better than the 5 door hatch version.
Boot space is brilliant, rear seats fold flat, it's comfortable and refined, and most importantly it has that engine up at the front.
It is a beast, especially when you put it in Cupra mode - It feels seriously faster than my 240bhp GTi. This is a car I am going to enjoy for a long time!
Also, on the plus side, I like owning cars that I don't see too many of, and I can honestly say I have never seen another estate Cupra on the road!

Nice car, do like these. Those wheels look a PITA to clean though hehe.
Thanks! It just seems like such an all rounder of a car! Aye, I haven't got round to washing it yet, but I imagine copious amounts of Wheel cleaner and a small brush, with a lot of power washing will be needed!
