After 2 years in a diesel Xc60 I picked this up last night, Great service throughout and I’m extremely happy with the car and colour combination of it.

Of course I’m taking it very easy for the first 500-1000miles but it’s very addictive so rather difficult to do

I know what you mean and I asked the salesman with mine if there was a running in period, and he said just drive it as you would normally...so I did(blasting it almost everywhere!), I then checked the manual and it said you're meant to baby it until 1200 miles. eek

I love the handling and the fact you can use all it's performance for most of the time, and on back lanes it feels quicker than it actually is, it's the most fun car I've had since my TVR, I'm well happy with it, I'm just over 1250 miles now.

Have fun in yours...when it's run in! biggrin

900mls and its currently in the dealership having a new exhaust fitted after a chemical contamination... But I'm impressed by the car on a whole

Yeah not the best start. Happened on the way to work. put in to sport to join the dual carriageway and then it just died on me and Eml light came on and went to partial Limp mode 50mph max and 3k revs. Dealership has said the Cat has disintegrated inside and the heat has melted the sensors. So they are replacing the full system incase theres any bits floating about from it. They are saying a manufacturing fault and have been excellent throughout.

But as i said I'm impressed by the car the speed is seamless but dangerously exciting and the ride is a lot better than my last 08 Cooper S
