2008 Volvo S60 2.0t se sport
Discussion
Hi all, first off I will get around to adding pictures into this thread unless I can upload via phone? Photobucket was so handy but they can rot in hell now! Haha. Anyway enough of the pap talk.
I have a very late 58 plate Volvo S60 2.0t se sport, 1 owner Fvsh and low mileage. It’s immaculate and I love the car, proper grandad barge. The se spec of the car is the winter pack, the sport side of it is I think just the chrome dials and gear lever? It doesn’t have the 4c suspension set up and it has the 17” talos alloys that the se model have instead of the 18” rims, it does have the spoiler though! Strange, I am believed it was an ex demo car what mill Volvo used. Any Volvo nerds enlighten me on that?
Recently changed cam & aux belt kit and the handbrake shoes so touch wood she’ll be fine and throw up no hissy fits. My first 5 potter and although it’s just the 2.0t it does leave a nice growl when overtaking, but it’s a car what doesn’t really encourage you too floor it 24/7, more of pipe and slippers cruising at 65 with a cuppa.
Awaits pics...........
Your wondering what bangernomics has to do with this, well previously I had 2006 Mazda 3 sport 2.0 petrol in resale silver, bought at 45k kept for 5 year and sold with 155k. Car I wished I kept, the ones who become a part of you. I then had no car so a cheap and cheerful buffer car was needed asap, a long came a mk1.5 Ford Focus zetec on a 2005 plate. Front and rear heated screen, aircon and 2 owners with fsh, timing belt and water pump changed. 750 of your English pounds, changed the ditchfinders for uniroyal rain experts and ran it for 8 months without touching it, ran faultless, left it anywhere, wasn’t bothered where I parked it or who dinged it in car parks, that feeling was excellent. I sold it for what I bought it for and then bought my s60 which is faultless but I hate parking it anywhere, I love maintaining it and caring for it but I’d rather have a car that I didn’t. Tell me it’s not just me??

Should have kept that focus. Not that there's anything wrong with the Volvo, just park it anywhere anyway. Sounds like u bang some nice mileage on your cars so it will be worth next to nothing before u know it anyway.
Yeah maybe, I may put it up for sale in the summer while the mileage is low....Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
