After many years of German rwd cars and winters getting progressively worse in the UK, I had the choice of winter tyres for my E350 Merc Coupe or a winter hack, well as the title gave it away, the search was on.

Welcome this snazzy blue Fiesta 1.4tdci with 109k, MOT till Feb '19 all for the pricely sum of £350 smile complete with leather interior and some ford alloys. All works well, few little bits to tidy up but should do me well in the bad weather.

Can anyone identify this blue? I've not seen this colour before?

I think it could be called either blue print but Capri blue on the focus is also similar

I think a remap may cost as much as the car itself.

I bought one of these for my wife as a stop gap while her Seat Ibiza was in for repairs. 2006, 70000 miles, for £800. She decided to keep it and sell the repaired Seat instead when it came back. Two years on, its now at 115000 miles, it's only had servicing and tyres and is as good now as then. Its a bit sluggish, I hadn't considered a remap for what she calls her "trundlebuggy", but might do now as she wants to keep it. It just does everything you would want it to.

Bought a 1.6TDCI fiesta designed to be run for 18 months on a budget. 4 years later it's still running with 145,000 and counting, 1 injector seal replaced through the last 50K with me.

Brilliant, cheap little cars, parts are pennies, just keep up the servicing and check those injectors!

It's proving to be a handy little shed, I'll look into a tuning box.
