My Alfa GT Junior has had lots of welding recently (naturally!). It needs a respray following this so I started rubbing it down myself. Got a few panels in and realised I should leave it to the professionals! So the body is looking very patchy and mismatched. While I gather funds for a full respray I thought I'd embrace the rat look for a while and run it around over the winter. Dragged out the old roof bars, and stuck on a roundel, voila!
Not for everyone I'm sure but I'm going to enjoy it for a bit...

Very cool. Don't bother painting it - you'll be afraid of using it!
No chance of that. I've had it 11 years and its always used regularly which is why it deteriorated but I wouldn't change that for a thing. Its driven in all weathers and will continue to be. I'll never own a garage queen.velocemitch said:
Looks great Jimjam, my 2000GTV is looking equally tatty these days. Not sure I'd put a roofrack on though......
Yes, I come and go with the roofrack. The roofline is so lovely it seems a shame to spoil it but then its unusual to see one with and it gets a great reaction.Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
