Great cars OP - I had mine for 3 years (but never tracked it).

If you go for the 330 brakes I think you'll need different brackets for the calipers (from an E46 330, 130i or 123d), and will have to run 17" wheels to clear them.

When you have some spare time you might want to have a read through this:- https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...laugh

Still, any excuse for a photo!

I remember seeing this for sale, Would also like to do a track day in mine next year, just waiting for my ditchfinders to wear down so i can put a nice new set on. Also did you change the brake fluid for higher temp stuff?
Depending on the condition, i may be interested in a few things if you ever strip the interior.
Have also always liked those wheels cool

I've always liked the quirky look of these, must be great fun with the M54B25. Enjoy beer

Top of the list is a brake upgrade, after looking at some options I think the best bang for buck is some 330i brakes, they're a bit bigger and twinned with some DS2500 pads should help with longevity. I'm also gonna dump the rear seats and whatever else I can live without. Some harnesses are also on the list and maybe some fabric seats. I'm a bit chunky so buckets dont really work for me, but the current leather seats leave me sliding about everywhere. Lastly get the shim kit for the diff and get that in too.
330i brakes with CL RC6 pads are what I now run (front and rear) on my full-fat (1380+driver) 330ti. They should be more than up to the job of stopping a lightened 325ti. They're completely unflappable on track, even with the full weight, two people, 230hp and semi slick tyres. Disclaimer: they're also AWFUL on the road (pad knock and squeal mostly), so much so I swap them in before each track day. I fitted completely rebuilt 330 rear trailing arms when I did the brake swap so a) the handbrake works and b) I can run run M3 sized bearings fitted to the 330i - E36/46s seem to eat the smaller rear wheel bearings on track.

An LSD is top of my shopping list, but there seems like a lot of confusion about what LSDs fit what 188k diffs so I'm not pulling the trigger until I know what ratio I want to run and whether the LSD will actually fit it (I think somewhere around 3.15ish the number of bolts on the crown wheel changes but I haven't pulled diffs apart to verify).

You've got a 6sp box I assume? 4.44 would be tremendous for most tracks but would be pretty tiring on the motorway.
