2007 Audi Allroad 4.2FSI (V8 content)
Discussion
Seems this seems to be of interest to some people (with it’s rarity) and I’m very bored I thought I’d post up a RR thread about it

(I couldn’t make the photo come out on it’s own)
It’s a 2007 Audi A6 Allroad 4.2 FSI. A real unicorn, I like to think, because there are only 32 in the entire country and they were only sold from 2007-2009. Even rarer than the non allroad 4.2 A6.
Equipped with the 4.2 FSI engine from the Audi S5 and pushing out around 350hp which was a lot in it’s day it has ample peformance and a very nice ride with it’s air suspension making for a nice motorway cruiser. I have driven 20,000 miles a year in this car with no problems for nearly 3 years now.
Very high specification:
Dual zone climate control
Keyless start
Home-Link garage opener
Audi exclusive maple inlays
Audi Exclusive "Fine grain maple" inlays
Audi Exclusive door sills
Audi Exclusive lighting package
Audi Exclusive leather package 1
Tiptronic
Ice Silver Metallic
Ice Silver Metallic bumpers
Black Silk Nappa Leather
18" Ten Spoke Star alloy wheels
HDD Satellite Navigation with 3G
Audi Multimedia Interface (MMI)
Audi solar sunroof
Audi Sound
3G Mobile Telecommunication preperation with Bluetooth and Audi Privacy handset
Audi parking system advanced
Window net (rear)
Privacy glass (heat insulating)
Heated windscreen
(I’ll try and get the full list up soon)
Originally owned by some bloke in Peterborough and only serviced at Audi and Porsche. Must have had deep pockets then.
Cheers

Nice. What's weird (and clearly a really small chance) is that I spotted one this morning.
I did wonder why I'd never seen one as it's clearly a thing of excellence, but not everyone in this country is as committed to burning the planet to death and making big rumbly noises while carrying all manner of s
t about in the boot. Shame on them.

Found an almost Unicorn BiT for me... good spec, but a 272 that is a year younger and more toys is appealing.
Out of a 911 I am used to bumbling about. Can't help but wonder for the ball ache of the extra running costs would I really need the BiT ?
PH card hand in ?
The 272 engine isn’t a BiTdi, it’s a single turbo.Out of a 911 I am used to bumbling about. Can't help but wonder for the ball ache of the extra running costs would I really need the BiT ?

Relay box? Tell us more!
Some low life scum bag brought one of those little computer thing. First scanned the car (and my Golf) and then walked to the window and was scanning around. When confronted he simply walked away!!!!!But not before trying again!!!
Moved the car now to another location.
