We've all had a mix of motors. Here are a few of mine, from oldest to most recent.
All completely different (other than the two M3s...) but each of them brilliant in their own way.

Ps. Anyone who's considering buying a Lotus, do it. They're hilarious fun to drive!

Very nice choice. Think I'd still quite like a supercharged exige at some point.

There are plenty from £37/38k and nice examples at that, to 60k onwards. Oranage ones are usually more in demand.

Beautiful Exige. Funnily enough I'm going to be in the market soon for something along the lines of an e92 m3 or mk2 focus rs. Two completely different cars, but similar prices to buy these days. What's your view on the running costs between the two? And is the v8 worth it all things considered?

There's no universe I could live in where a mk2 focus RS would be a choice, and in preference to something nice like an M3 or Exige etc.
My brain will not compute :-)

I'm talking about all things considered. They're both at around the same value to buy - however the m3 will obviously be a lot more expensive to run. I'm asking if it's worth it, or is the RS just as fun on a daily basis.

A new Exige though is a different kettle of fish altogether.

Nice bunch. The M3’s are true lookers. Can’t say I feel the same about the Exige despite its obvious dynamic ability unfortunately ...

Given a choice it would be a S1 Exige with a S/C K20 Honda for me.

Until I win the lottery then my DC2 does the job of revs & smiles pretty admirably

I'm currently storing a mk1 Elise with a perfect Honda vtec conversion and all the trick suspension bits that's going for about £30k. It's an absolute rocket. Used to be supercharged but was a bit lairy, it's now on a normal K20.

Very nice! Honda have always built super N/A motors.

A K20 must be a riot in something so skinny, & the S/C only for the very brave

Had a friend with a JR charged DC2 several years back & it made the car an absolute weapon with maybe 240-250hp. Very fond memories of driving that!

Going in this Elise is why I'm still interested in a supercharged exige at some point. Love em!

Getting a bit common around here are all these V6 Exiges.... biggrin

Always wanted to own both of your previous cars. Came close to pulling the trigger on an E9x once. Good taste sir!
